Job description:

Responsible for sourcing macro & micro raw materials and managing the suppliers, strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals, and find more superior suppliers and profitable raw materials.  

Key responsibilities:

• Propose & manage the budget of purchase department.

• Search and negotiate with suppliers, traders & broker for the best service and cost to company and decide to select the suitable ones.

• Investigate, plan, and implement purchase strategically effective and relevant supply methods, which meet optimally the quality needs & terms-condition of the De Heus.

• Analyze all aspects of market raw materials availability to determine the most cost-effective or efficient.

• Analyse the financial impact of proposed buying raw materials, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes.

• Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability. Keep track records of purchase & help to accounts/finance team for maintaining the payment schedule of suppliers  

• Manage the macro and micro raw material stock with the help of production/warehouse team and time to time meeting with production/warehouse team ask the requirement of raw materials.

• Liaising with internal and external departments

• Purchasing. Procedure/overall purchase activities on daily routine on ground level.

• Developing & Implementing purchasing strategies on daily/weekly/monthly basis.

• Coordination with Global/local team.

• Suppliers & new ingredients developments.

• Monthly/quarterly supplier's/plant visit.

Education:

• Min Graduation, MBA or degree in related subject is preferable
