Boiler Operator

Job description:

• Perform day-to-day operation and maintenance of boiler. Ensure safety by monitoring safety equipment and improve steam system efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform frequent inspection checks and regular maintenance on boiler systems and related valves, gauges, piping, tubes and other equipment.
• Constantly inspect water(TDS, PH & Hardness), gas, and other fluid levels inside boilers and related equipment during operating.
• Ensure appropriate fuel delivery to keep the boiler working and keep all boiler rooms, related facilities, and work areas clean and organized at all times.
• Repair and replace the boiler machinery and parts as needed.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, promptly addressing any faults to minimize downtime.
• Keep accurate records of Boiler operation, maintenance activities, fuel consumption and issue encountered during each designated shift.
• Recognize the failures and adjust the different data in logs immediately.
• Complete daily report and Handle equipment, database starting and stopping activities during each designated shift.
• Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift.
• Handle and remark the failures and uncompleted activities to next boiler Operator to implement it continuously.
• Follow Established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety check, including testing safety valves and emergency shutdown systems.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies regarding emission, waste and other related factors.
• Other tasks as assigned by Shift Leader.

Education:

• High School Diploma/ Broiler operator certificate
• Knowledge of boiler operation and maintenance, safety standards, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
