Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)

Job description:

• Ensure to strictly follow-up and implement preventive maintenance as planned and required.
• Prevent and carry-out the failures of machinery at site.
• Ensure that facilities and employees at site are always in a good and safe condition.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Inspect facility periodically to determine problems necessary maintenance such as protective clothes and tools.
• Ensure all maintenance activities align with the plant’s maintenance schedule and standard operating procedures.
• Develop, implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machinery and equipment.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities, coordinating repair schedules to minimize production downtime
• Monitor Equipment performance, analyzing data and trends to identify and address reliability issues.
• Develop troubleshooting procedures and support the team in diagnosing and resolving mechanical.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues, enhancing overall plant reliability.
• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout procedures during maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Make daily report and clear hand-over to next shift.
• Manage maintenance tools and equipment effectively.
• Remark the failures and uncompleted tasks to next Maintenance Officer to implement it continuously.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to the maintenance manager.

Education:

• Diploma and certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 03 years - experience in manufacturing (Preferably in feed manufacturing)
